Hello SAP Guru's
I created txt files to test lockbox set-up in BAI2 file format. When I execute FLB2, nothing happens and I don't see the result nor am I receiving an error message. I get a blank grey screen with header information. When I look to FLB1? The file is not there. What am I doing wrong?
Points Guaranteed!
Thanks!
Hi,
Please check the file format, whether it is BAI2. Also check whether the Origin and Destination as defined in configuration are matching in the text file. Also check whether the Customer is there in SAP, MICR details are maintained in Customer master.
I suggest you create a file with just one line item which is open for a Customer and test it.
Thanks
Murali.

I think I may be using the wrong parameters when running FLB2
I am uploading from my pc
in shared drive
Procedure Lockbox
Input record format BAI2
Invoice numbers 2
check enhanced invoice no. check
algthm checks with advice 001
algthm checks w/o advice 001
check assign value date
check print statistics
then I execute
get blank great header screen
nothing in FLB1
am I missing something
I checked the file format a million times and it should be right.
Thanks!
Zaid-
Here is the situation- I inherited this project after the person before me messed things up. I have done this before however I can't start from the beginning. The error I am receiving when running FLB2 is:
Table T049A does not have an entry with key
00199986 0021000018
The numbers are the Destination and Origin. They are under the house banks. The only difference I see in the set-up other than they are two different banks is the Destination name is 8 numeric and it is in the system as 10.
In the file- 00199986
In House Bank- 0000199986
Is the problem?
Thanks!
yeah ur first line is wrong. i think u need to pad extra zeros
heres how my first line looks like
100690732018400004591620704171730
my destiniation is 6907320184
origin is 0000459162
07 is the year 04 the month, 17 the date 1730 the time
i would test by moving the position of your origin and destination.
Then based on the message you will get it
your current message is
00199986 0021000018
compare it with the other messages that u get
eg if next time you add 0000 before your destination adn ur message is
001999 does not exist then you know that your last 2 digits are being missed , based on which you can modify the file.
I rem i got the same error, which i fixed by changing my text file.
Hi AMS,
Within FLB2, did you check the checkbox labeled "Import into bank data storage"?
