Hi Experts,
Few days back I posted the thread to explore option of having Technical name and Description in seperate column - Please find that post link : https://community.sap.com/t5/enterprise-resource-planning-q-a/issue-with-find-technical-object-apps/
I still have questions around this apps.
As shown below, SAP has provided column for technical object (2 column with same name - Confusing ??) Second column shows Superior tech Object's details without description in seperate column. ( This is what I am looking for technical object case)
Question here, if it is possible to have a seperate column for Description and tech object , why SAP has not given that facility for main technical object on which this apps runs ?
Is there any other report in Embedded analytics or apps, we can see technical object list as a report ? which covers these limitations ?
Or Is there any future release which is going to address this issue ?

Hi Riyaj,
I can't comment on the design of the original app, and the naming convention that was used. But, I agree that the column names that are currently in there are not consistent and could be confusing to end users. That second 'Technical Object' column is the parent without a description. And there are no separate FLOC or EQ columns to even break this out.
If you compare this to other apps such as "Manage Maintenance Notifications and Orders" you will see more consistent filters and columns (technical object, equipment, functional location, description etc). This will not fit your use case as it's taking Notifications and Orders as the leading object so it will not include all technical objects, but I raise it as an example of how a standard set of filters could be standardised.
Other than building your own custom report with a CDS view, I would recommend logging this idea on the customer influence portal for the development roadmap: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/1172
(If you search for 'find technical object' in the portal, you will see other proposed additions to the same app, but not for this specific use case).
