Hello-

I am in OMS9, but I cannot seem to get to the control for individual fields. I do not want to control the whole group, just one field within the group. The field is in group 110. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi

For a try

In se80 enter the program SAPLMGD1 select 2007 and click on the layout and then click on the weight unit field. Then under attributes just check whether in display tab for input option required or recommended is selected.

This is STD and requires an access key for anybody to change.

But still since u say that all settings in OMS9 are correct lets give a try and chk.

Dear Friend,

The field MARA-GEWEI (Weight Unit) is under Field selaction group 16, which can be controlled groupwise.

Also please ensure, the field MARA-BRGEW(Gross weight) is Blank, because the both the field are inter-related with qty and units.

Hope this helps

Go to SPRO-Log General-Material Master-Field Selection-Define Plant-Specific Field Selection and Plant-Specific Screen Selection and Check any Plant Specific Field Selection is made.

Also Check in OMSR & OMS9 via Field Selection Group instead Field Selection.

No Plant- Specific Field Selection and Plant-Specific Screen Selection exist

Hi

We have to check whether the field is optional at 1. client level 2. plant level and 3. transaction code level;

Even if it is reqired entry in any of these levels, it will take priority.

display level will be the topmost priority, then 'required entry', then optional entry...in that order
