Favorites to IMG tasks?

Hi,

It's quite easy insert transactions as favorites in the main SAP program. However, I can't find a way how to create favorites for specific IMG (Customizing) tasks. Currently the transaction code SPRO serves the whole IMG area yet I want to build a short favorite list in the order the tasks should be visited to configure the next client. The tasks are dispersed widely in IMG therefore it’s difficult to remember where to find a specific one.

This is not possible to do.........

You can only put the main function in Favorites..

Like in this case you can only put SPRO....

In the other way the options which are available in tree structure can only be favorited.

If the customization task has a transaction code then it is possible to add to the favourites. Some task do not have transaction code these cannot be added to favourites.

I was playing with the idea to use SE93 to create a custom transaction code for the customization task by specifying SPRO as the main transaction code + the program name and screen number of the task, which I can see under System->Status (if I recall correctly). Can these additional parameters be used in any meaningful way to achieve the goal?

Why don't you go for an Area Menu instead? ie create an Area menu in SE43 & attach all your config Tcodes to it.. & let the Users access this Area menu for their IMG tasks..
