Failed to get database information from System Landscape Directory

I have just installed SAP HANA (with the demo Database SBODEMOUS checked) and SAP B1 Server side at SUSE successfully. Then I installed SAP B1 Client side at Windows and it finished successfully too. But when I tried to login in SAP B1 Client with user/password manager/manager, selected the SBODEMOUS database, it shows "Failed to get database information from System Landscape Directory". But when I login the SLD, it does show the demo database.

I got client log and it shows:

"Biz SLDClient SLDClientOP::GetCommonDBCredentials SD Client Exception code:7 message:function return is empty : GetCommonDBCredential # # TID=11388 sldclient.cpp 1150 Customized=0".

I have tried to reinstall the SAP B1 Client but it doesn't help. And I also tried to remove and readd the DB Instance at SLD ControlCenter but it still doesn't help. Tried to restart server and client computer and result is the same.

I also follow other notes has the same topic but it doesn't make any change.

Is there any other things I need to inspect or try. Please give me some advice.

Thanks.

Update at 11/12/2024

I tried to reinstall the SAP B1 server side, and I found a way using https://[hostname]:[port]/mobileservice/ and login in as manager/manager, it turned out to show that:

100000027 Fail to get SBO COMMON Credentials from SLD.
I have tried to Refresh Database User and result is the same.

I even didn't install SAP B1 Client-Side this time. So, I think there might be something wrong with my SAP B1 Server-Side installation? What is the SBO COMMON Credentials mean? Should I change the manager password?

Please help me. Thank you in advance!

Hi, did you always use the same kind of server address like ipaddress or hostname or fqdn? If you use a different type of address than specified int he SLD it can cause such issue

Hi, Darius,

Thank you for your advice. But I do use the hostname in all the place of the server URL.
