Failed to connect or logon to SLD, please check connection parameters and configure file

Hello,

We have an Add On that runs from a Console application. It randomly disconnects from Business One and shuts down with the following error message:

Failed to connect or logon to SLD, please check connection parameters and configure file

We have checked the configuration files and everything looks ok.

Can anyone help us to understand the cause of this error or a way to handle it to prevent our addon from shutting down?

Thank you.

If licence manager uses IP address, try to use IP in addon, if licence manager uses domain name, try to use domain name in addon too. We had the same problem and this one change have resolved problem.

Hi,

Make sure that the name of the SAP Server in your connection settings is the same as it appears in the license manager.

Hi,

Dd you check the stability of connection between the computer the application runs from and the server where the SLD is located.

try ping -t <ip or name of sld server>

Hi Kerremans

Thanks for your comment.

The console application is running on the server where the SLD service is located.

The SLD service seems to be running even when the console application is disconnected.

Still trying to figure out what is happening...

Hi Esau

I know this is an old post...and you might have resolved it.

Had the same issue today. Client server went down and when it came back up...no one coud connect. we could only connect via the sap b1 client on the server.

...added port 30010 to the firewall and it resolved our issue.

Jerusha
