F-32 Problem

Gurus,

We have included the line item layout 'A1' for customer open items in

the user master record using the transaction FB00 (Editing Options).

However, when the user executes the transaction F-32, the line item

layout seen on screen is different from the layout 'A1' saved in the

user master record.

Can you please advise how to ensure that the line item layout saved in

the user master record is seen on screen the first time the transaction

F-32 is executed.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,

If you want to make this a default setting for all the users you can do it in SPRO.

Hi,

Please check, whether there is in table TCVIEW an entry for

the user ' .TCADMIN.'. As soon as such an entry exists, these

informations are used when the open item list is called in a clearing

transaction. Based on the program logic the entry of TCVIEW has a higher

priority then the variant settings.

That means, each time you call open items in a clearing transaction, the

table control settings of ' .TCADMIN.' are used and the personal

parameters are ignored. Only after the 1st call of the open item list,

the variant selection via SETTINGS - LINE LAYOUT can be used.

So please consider, if you really need this entry of user ' .TCADMIN.'

in TCVIEW. Settings of the table control have always a higher priority

as variants. That's the default behaviour in all SAP FI transactions.

Dear Attila,

Thanks for the information.

A user " .TCADMIN." does exist in the table TCVIEW. There are 93 entries for the user against the program SAPDF05X.

Is there any adverse effect of deleting the user " .TCADMIN." from the table TCVIEW?

Thanks & Regards,

Dear Gupte,

you can delete it, without any additional risk.
