F-02 lsmw not picking data on amount field

HI

My client is on a restructuring process with effect on 01 June 2013 and we are creating new company codes.They have to upload the general ledger account balances.I have prepared an lsmw based on F-02 now on executing my batch in sm35 data is not being picked on amount field soon after posting key and account.it views screen with amount field blank and gives the message "No data for batch input session ....."

Hi Rejoice,

How is the LSMW designed?  If it is a BDC based on FB01, try running the batch in foreground mode. This will clearly let you know, why amount is not picked up and it will be easy to fix the issue.

HI Rejoice,

Please check the data displayed in the Radio Button : "Display Read Data"

check if amount field is getting displayed correctly.

If amount field is not getting displayed

1) Please check the Field Mapping is correct or not or

2) Try to to create a new upload file. I faced similar issue and I created the source file from the scratch & it was resolved

You can also check the format is correct in Maintain Source field or not.

Hi

It is a Bdc for F-02.I have mapped my fields correctly.on display converted data i can see my amount field is populated.But on executing the batch when it is supposed to populate the field it gives this message.

No batch input data for screen SAPMF05A 0301

Message no. 00344

check the logs in SM35.  You can double click each screen in the middle tab, to check, if the mapping is done correctly.

Hello Rejoice,

Try to process the 'IDOCs in error' in foreground. This will help you in knowing the field which is expecting a value and is not filled by lsmw. Update your LSMW accordingly then.

Hi Rejoice,

Better to create New LSMW for FB01 ( F-02). You may check Display converted data radio button where you can get all information about data accurately picking from file and converted as required. Before batch input session ,you can check.
