1) Througth a portal link, (for example "Italy OrgChart"), they want to see the organizational structural of Italy in Nakisa application. There will be several link in their portal:

.- Holland OrgChart

.- Spain OrgChart

....

All those links must opens the Nakisa application and show its corresponding OrgChart (like the Italy example).

I have not idea how to do this... could some one give any ideas..

Thanks and best regards

Emilio,

You can format a link that will open OrgChart at a particular object node in a particular hierarchy.

http://<server>:<port>/<appname>/defaultredirect.jsp?PageName=ChartAppWithPhone.jsp&Request=splitdir...>

For the orgchartname, in 3.0 if you are using the main OU chart then the name is "SAPOrgUnitOrgChart" and objectid is the OU number.

Hi Stephen,

Thank you so much.. I have a couple questions:

1.- The link above, we just need to fill the objectid and orgchartname, is that right? (of course server, port and appname)

2.- What did you mean about "if you are using the main OU chart"?

Thanks and best regards

1 - yes

2 - By main OU chart I mean the Organization Hierarchy showing O-O-S-P.

Hi Stephen

I'm working on it...

Where do I get the objectid and orgchartname in a custom OrgChart? (Abstract Name for orgchartname?)

Best regards

As per my post above ...

"For the orgchartname, in 3.0 if you are using the main OU chart then the name is "SAPOrgUnitOrgChart" and objectid is the OU number."

Yes I know... But I mean:

For the orgchartname, in the AdminConsole - General Settings: Am I right?

But (sorry) I haven't found the OU number (Did you mean the root?)

objectid is the SAP OU number for the org unit you want the chart to open at.

So if you are creating a link for "Italy OrgChart" then find the OU that is "Italy" and use the OU ID of that.

Dear Experts,

As I tell you in other thread, I will continue with Emilio work.

As Emilio said, the solution worked perfectly, but now the client has asked to put in the link a specific user with their respective password. It is possible to do this?

Thanks,

Alex.

This is not possible I'm afraid.
