In Purchasing terms External delivey is nothing but"inbound delivery"

If you go to MIGO,in the general tab you can see Delivery Note..that is nothing but External delivery note,This is used as referrence for Any goods receipt.Like Inbound delivery G.R,Goods issue,
That should not be a Inbound delivry,After entering the Delivery This will is required to enter for referrence.
I made amistake between the T-Codes. Its VL31N, not VL01N...:)

Hi,
Inbound delivery is created by VL01N. it is created in reference to PO. It helps to track PO shipping conformation.
Inbound delivery is created when vendor send Advance shipping notification (ASN) is involved.
More details acn be obtained by searching in this forum itself. Amle amount of data is available.
