Extension ledgers in Public cloud

Hi, 

We've a customer interersted in extention ledgers and planning to use if for tax adjustments. I've been searching for any limitations related to extension ledgers in public cloud but can't find any specific number. Does this means that there isn't any limitations in how many extension ledgers that can be created in public cloud? Or could anyone please assist with some links of where I can find it. 

Second question related to ledgers is the ability to add ledgers after the inital implementation. I'm avare of that the Group Valuation (Ledger 4G) needs to be activated from start and can't be activated later on. But what about extension ledgers, is it the same with extension ledgers that they needs to be added in the implementation or is it possible to add them later on if needed?

Hi Sanne,

you can create any number of extension ledgers on top of a standard ledger (so there’s no restriction). And you don’t have to create them during scoping but can do this anytime later.

Thanks for your quick reply, sounds great that we don't need to agree to extension ledgers now in implementation. 

So for my understanding, the standard ledgers (0L, 2L, 3L, 4G) are the ones that only can be created through the initial implementation-phase and the extension ledgers can be done at a later strage.
