Exporting to Excel options

Hi there guys, this is my first post and i wasn't too sure where to put it.

Basically i am trying export a report, CJ74 (if that helps) to an excel spreadsheet. I used to get options when i exported to excel about what file type i wanted it to be exported to, however now it is defaulted to a .htm option.

How do i get all the options back? Is there a way to reset the options?

Cheers

Ajay

Hi Ajay,

Export to excel sheet in this way.

Goto Menu bar, then select List - Export - Local file , then select spread sheet.

Thanks & Regards

Sunitha.

Sunitha,

I have just tried that and it doesn't give it in the format i used to get. This is very confusing.

Any more ideas?

Thanks

Ajay

what do you mean the format that you want??

SAP will export into excel the way you see the report.

Format has to be later changed manually.

Whne using the CJ74 form i used a variant to get the data i wanted. Then when i ran the excel export, it would list the details in the a set format.

I sued to get a dialog box with two radio buttons: Excel (in MHTML format) and All Avaiable formats. I selected the first by accident and now it defaults to it.

All i want is the Dialog biox back so i can choose the correct option.

Any ideas?
