Hi ,

we had gone live in April. We are entering backdated entries. Our user, by mistake, entered 19.05.2010 instead of 19.04.2010.

SO can anybody convey, how to change this date? please suggest...

Regards,

For wrongly posted excise invoice,do as following,Cancel GR,Cancel excise invoice, post excise invoice.

Recreate document as following capture excise, refer it in GR,post excise invoice with correct dates.

Hi,

We are entering the backlog entries, So I can't cancel the excise invoice. This is the excise invoice creation through J1IIN. So I am ot talking about MIGO. Please suggest, The wrongly created Excie invoice through J1IIN, how to change the posting date? Either through ABAP... Please suggest...

Hi Prasanna,

As clear from your communication, you have problems related to excise invoice posting date for your sales excise invoices.

As a result of wrong posting date, debit register would also have been wrongly generated.

As a process point of view you can cancel the excise invoices(J1IH->cancel excise invoice) & re-generate with correct posting date . Debit register will also be corrected with this.

You can create one LSMW for cancellation & re-creation steps.

If you want to take debug change steps with ABAP, you will have to change the dates in three tables, Excise header, excise detail & Part2 table as well.

thanks,

We need to cancel & redo the process that is advisable. If not at backend with help of abap make the change in the table.

thanks,

Is it a posting date or invoice date?

If its invoice date it can be changed through change mode if excise credit is not taken.

Please check.
