error while creating sales order

Hi

am creating sales order but getting following error.

a) schedule line not getting determined

b) No business area can be determined for item 00020.

Hello Friend,

a) schedule line not getting determined

Go to T.code VOV5 and check for the concerned Item Category from sales order and MRP Type which is maintained in the material master and schedule line category CP and see if data exist for the same.If not copy the existing data and create a new one with your new data.

b) No business area can be determined for item 00020.

SPRO>Enterprise Structure>Definition>Financial Accounting>Define business area and after that assign the same to your respective sales area.

Hi,

Check in VOV5 whether you have maintained the scheduleline category determination with reference to your item category.

For your second error check in OVF0 and OVF1 whether you have assinged the business area to plant and division and sales area.
