Error message when changing bank data in ESS

Former Member

Whenever a user tries to enter a new bank detail in ESS on portal, i.e. Personal Information > Bank Information > New bank, the system returns the following error message:

"Type conversion error, field BEGDA, complex type class com.sap.xss.hr.per.gb.bank.model.Hcmt_Bsp_Pa_Gb_R0009"

Is this a known error in ESS? can you please point me in the right direction for solving this problem?

Many thanks

John

This problem usually occurs when Use Cases and Timeconstraints do not

work together.

+ On V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP check 0009 and compare it with sap delivered in 000 client

T_cd:SE24 >>CL_HRPA_PERNR_INFTY_XSS >> CHECK_USECASE_WITH_CONSTRAINT >>

for

usecase = A1, A4, B1, B4 (table V_T7XSSPERSUBTYP)

you need to have

zeitb = '1' OR zeitb = '2' (table V_T591A)

for

usecase = A2, A3, A5, B2, B3, B5

you need to have

zeitb = '2'

for

usecase = A6, B3

you need to have

Zeitb = '3'

zeitb is time constraint.

Hope those information will help for you. You also are able to review

attached notes.

P.S. : Please read the note 965324 for better understanding

of use cases.

Thanks Vijay for the reponse.

I have run the RPUFIXDS report in backend system but no inconsistencies was found, and I am still getting thesame error. Users can view their bank Information in the portal, but when it comes to editing same, the error message below is recieved:

"Start date should be after the 31.03.2010 or later"

Also, when user tries to add a second bank details, the error below is displayed: A critical error has occured:

"Type conversion error, field BEGDA, complex type class com.sap.xss.hr.per.gb.bank.model.Hcmt_Bsp_Pa_Gb_R0009"

Any idea?

Many thanks
