For photo upload when we use tcode OAAD, we get the following error:

Error in HTTP Access: IF_HTTP_CLIENT->RECEIVE 1 ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED.

We have done all IMG settings required and activated the content server service also.

Tcode: SMICM also shows:

ICM Status: Running

Restart After Error true

Trace Level (0-3): 1

Created Worker Threads: 10 / 10 / 50

Connections Used: 0 / 4 / 500

Queue Entries Used: 0 / 4 / 500

Anything we've missed out?

Hi all.

I've struggled with this issue for about 3 hours and just found the solution for my case. When I've observed dev_icm trace file under "work" directory, I've seen errors as follows:

[Thr 1543] *** ERROR => Connection request from (-1/65535/0) to host: xxx.xxx.xxx, service: 8000 failed (NIEHOST_UNKNOWN) [icxxconn_mt.c 2738]

I've checked /etc/services file and saw that, port 8000 has been allocated to another service which is unnecessary for us. I've commented out those lines and it worked for me.

Thanks.

Dear Vikrant,

This is more a basis than hcm issue.

Please ensure that you have the latest SAPHTTP version installed as

per the attached OSS note: 164203.

For the error:

Error in HTTP Access: IF_HTTP_CLIENT->RECEIVE 1

ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED

shows that there is a problem with the ICM. Please try switching back

to using SAPHTTP by creating an entry in the SDOKPROF table as follows:

NAME = USEHTTPPLG

VALUE = OFF

Leave all remaining fields blank. Save your changes. Please also update

SAPHTTP to the latest version as per the note 164203. Afterwards, use

the program RSHTTP05 to regenerate this destination. Then test if the

same error occurs.

BR,

Carlos.
