Error in Balance Sheet report

When I run the balance sheet the error message displayed:

"Money Overflow"

Do you know what is caused that error?

Dear Lina,

May be Lina had transaction that from Fixed asset addon, it's impact on reporting. IF Your system currency same as Local currency, Lina can use to preview report by system currency.

and don't forget to ask SAP Support.

Yes, it works. The balance sheet just ok if i choose system currency, but how if the local currency is difference with system currency?

Hello,

this error happened because your total account balance of all G/L accounts have exceeded 13 digits in total of decimal places. There is a SAP note explain about it i.e 1026634. The contents are :

Symptom

SAP Business One A does not support scenarios that might lead to a value greaterthan 9,223,372,036,854 in money fields, or in intermediate calculations, and may generate a Money Overflow error message.

Solution

The scenarios described above are not supported in SAP Business One.

But i just wondering how if the company have transactions value more than that already defined?

Coz my client could have transactions value more than that in IDR.

Any advices?

Hello Lina,

try to use another reporting tools like crystal report or reporting services. It will be more flexible and will not cause the money overflow.

Another reasonable is to upgrade SAP installation from SAP B1 to All in One.

Hi Lina,

Fyi, I already asked SAP Support about this issue around 3 months ago. This is SAP Core, we can not do anything. Let me guest, if your decimal currency setting "Without Decimal". is it true ? May be You can set to 2 decimals. I don't know if your client will accept this because as far I know in Indonesian Rupiah we don't use decimals place.
