When you look at the error code as documented in the SDK Helpcenter you will find the answer "Invalid Object" - what doesn't help much too... sorry.
I would recommend to post a sample of the XML code that you used when you received this error (+ version(s) of the installed B1 components) - otherwise it is pretty hard to tell where this problem might come from.
Just one guess: I would recommend to check the SM_OBS_DLL folder - and eventually remove the conetnt (stop DI server if the folder is "blocked").
