Error 1: "Source document JY-5905-2021 reported in tax return 61 not posted"

Dear All,

I'm observing that when I'm releasing Tax Return XXX (XXX means the Tax Return ID), there is an three error message below stating that the Source Document XYZ (XYZ means the Source Document ID) Reported in Tax Return XXX is not Posted.

Error 1: "Source document JY-5905-2021 reported in tax return 61 not posted"

Error 2: Tax payable amount for not correct ;

Error 3: Release of tax return 61 failed

However, when you check the source document XYZ, this is already posted and in Finished status.

Please help me from this!

Hello Raj,

Generally, this error shows if the invoice having both credit memo lines and invoice lines, the conversion from transaction currency to tax reporting currency has not happened correctly.

If this is same scenario, Create an incident with SAP for backend correction with your explicit written approval.

We will correct these entries on the tax register from the backend.

Backend changes are not clear what needs to be completed so therefor customer is requested to cancel the document that holds both invoice and credit memo lines. And create separate docs for these.
