Hi,

In certain activities like invite to apply, request additional information, urls are embedded with the form. These urls are pointing to BSP pages and not WDP pages, even though WDP pages exists for these services. How can i make sure the url embedded into the PDF is a valid url and not the discontinued BSP urls?

Hello Dhana,

unfortunately table HTTPURLLOC is meant for other settings.

The system generates URLs for BSP or WebDynpro applications depending on t77s0 switch RECFA WEBUI. If it is set to blank links for bsp applications are generated if it is set to X links for web dynpro applications are generated. You can find this parameter in IMG (transaction SPRO) under SAP E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> User Interfaces -> Candidate -> Backend Candidate -> Specify System Parameters for Web Dynpro.

If this switch is set to X and you still face issues you can debug the generation in classes CL_HRRCF_CS_DOC_CAT_APPL and CL_HRRCF_CS_DOC_CAT_INVITATION method prepare data.

Table HTTPURLLOC instead is used to rewrite static parts at the beginning of the URL. If you want that the standard URL http://internalservername.internaldomain.tld:####/... is replaced by something like http://carreers.company.tld/..., you can achieve this by using table HTTPURLLOC. Of course you have to establish the necessary network components which redirect the URL for the external view to the URL with the internal server names when a candidate calls a service.

Kind regards

Roman
