End date calculation into notification

Hi Experts,

    I've a question regarding the "End date" calculation in notification basis the Notification Priority.

While i'm creating Maintenance notification w.r.t to priority " Immediate" system calculates say date X.

While same notification is being cretaed with priority type "Before next Mnt window" , system calculates say date Y.

How system is calculting these dates ?

Is during calculation, sysem takes care the workcenter capacity also for deriving the dates?

What is the config. setting for the same..?

Seeking your expert advise...thanks in advance..

Hi,

It depends on RESPONSE PROFILE and SERVICE PROFILE

Resonse profile defines the time interval within which you have to execute a particular task, for example call the customer  - 30 Minutes after the notification reported

Service profile define the Service window of the Repair plant will perform the service or repair

These service profiles should be assigned to response profile

and as you know the priorities will be assigned again with response profile and service profile

so based on the priotity response profile and service profile will be accessed and the end date will be calculated
