Employee´s cost center

Hello!

We have a customer request to register an employee for more than one cost center. Is it possible to make this configuration within  SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition   ? In S/4 hana private it is possible to use the infotype 0027.

Typically an employee will belong to a single cost center. If you want its costs to be charged to different cost center, then either you do distribution / assessment or you charge it's cost to a receiver cost center via activity posting or timesheet.

Hi SIlvia,

please refer to a similar thread which answers your question. In general, with a "standard" employment, it is only possible to have one work agreement and therefore one cost center assignment per employee. Only with a concurrent employment scenario for example, it would be possible do have multiple cost center assignments due to there being multiple work agreements.
