Hi,

We are upgrading ERP 6.0 ehp4 to ehp5,

In downtime road-map we are facing below issue in xpras_aimmrg phase.

In the logs it shows that a job RDDEXECL is getting failed.

When we checked the job log it says the job is getting cancelled due to SYNTAX_ERROR.

And when we opened the dump it shows below log

Category ABAP Programming Error

Runtime Errors SYNTAX_ERROR

ABAP Program CL_ENH_TOOL_HOOK_IMPL=========CP

Application Component BC-DWB

Date and Time 14.10.2011 14:56:39

Kindly suggest.

Regards

Girish

Dear Girish,

The syntax error in CL_ENH_TOOL_HOOK_IMPL is caused by a dictionary

change that is required by note 1273082 which is a prerequisite of

reqd note 1412719. Note 1273082 describes what you need to do in the

note text:

<quote>

You can implement this note only AFTER you adjust the structure

ENH_CWB_INTF_HOOK_SOURCE manually.

At the end of the structure ENH_CWB_INTF_HOOK_SOURCE, you must add a new

field with the name FULL_NAME and the type STRING.

1. To do this, call transaction SE11.

In the "Data type" field, enter ENH_CWB_INTF_HOOK_SOURCE.

Choose "Change".

If required, obtain an access key to change the table.

In the "Component" column, enter the name FULL_NAME in the first blank

line. Choose "Predefined Type".

In the "Data Type" column, enter the value STRING for the field

FULL_NAME.

Save your entries and activate the structure.

2. Call transactions SE24, SE37, and SE38 one after the other. Display

an object that already exists. By doing this, you ensure that the system

recompiles these tools after you activate the structure. Therefore, no

runtime errors will occur due to regenerations the next time transaction

SNOTE is called.

3. You must restart transaction SNOTE and then implement this note.

Hello,

I would say you just search in service.sap.com/notes for the term CL_ENH_TOOL_HOOK_IMPL to get some notes in BC-DWB-TOO-ENH

Thanks
