Hi,

We are using the EHP4- PMS. We have a issue with the standard functionality in the quality scales.

We have a dropdown list to enter the ratings for criteria in the portal, when the dropdown list is not selected we are getting the text message u201Cno value" which supposed to be blank.

Please share your thoughts on how to restrict the text message for unfilled rating fields in the portal.

Thanks

Kumar

Hello,

I think this is standard functionality. If you dont want the message then you have to break the code.

Pls mention your exact requirement.

Thanks

Hi Rafi,

Yes, It's a standard functionality. We do not want the text for blank dropdown list for ratings. If we make the criteria as required then we are getting text" select a value" or "no value" .

We have configured quality scales.

It would be helpful if you share the component to be modified.

Thanks

Hi Kumar

As you said rightly if you make the criteria as Mandatory, blank scale would be filled as "No Value". If the client accepts to make that column as optional, create a quality scale with blank value and make criteria as optional. (I dont have SAP system access now, but you can try this option)

As far as I know we dont have any BADI to have the behavior mentioned by you.

Hi Reddy,

Thanks for the inputs.

The problem is if we have not selected any values in the dropdown list then the standard text "no value" will be displayed in the portal.

If we create a scale with blank value then also unless and until you select the blank value the same standard text will be displayed.

Any other work around for this, please share.

Thanks

Hi Kumar

Standard text "No Value" would only appear if you make the criteria/column as mandatory (or optional not very sure). Test the text appearance by making changes to column/criteria attributes (Mandatory/Optional), once you see the difference (NO VALUE text disappearance) from there you can think of solution/workaround solution.

Hope this helps

Hi Folks,

Thansk for the inputs.

when we make the criteria as optional then we are getting the text " no value" if we make it as required we are getting "select a value".

Need to identify the standard program to get this removed .

Thanks

Kumar
