ECC-EWM-GTS Export Declaration “Before PGI in EWM” -Bonded Warehouse

Hi Gurus,

Good Day

I have below requirement, kindly share your valuable inputs to define the FCD process in BWH.

Standard behaviour : SO -> Del -> ODO- > PGI in EWM ->OD->ECC-Material document-> GTS Export declaration, in this scenario export declaration created in GTS has all the required data and there is no issue here.

I think when the PGI is done in EWM, material document created in ECC, hope that is the reference to GTS for doing the “Export declaration”

Required behaviour: SO -> Del - > ODO->Picking Complete-> “NO” PGI in EWM -> Export declaration in GTS

This is for Free Circulation stocks.

Is there any process, with which we can do the “Export declaration” before PGI in EWM?

This is due to operational challenges as after PGI immediately the shipment leaves the facility and with in which if the customs clearance (from duty unpaid to duty paid) is not received, it will be an issue.

And hence we want to keep the PGI as last step, ie. After export declaration process is completed, business wants to print some carrier labels and want to post the goods issue and then shipment leaves physically. This would give enough time for FCD  process to customs.

Note: Client system is on EWM Decentral 9.5 and ECC 6.0

Look forward for your valuable advise.

Thanks,

Hari.

You can try customising PPF - Trigger based on picking complete status or any other status than PGI.
The PPF should trigger an interface and perform the GTS approval function required.

Other option is Invoice before GI.

For the GTS to perform the Export declaration, it needs PGI reference, if we trigger PPF interface to GTS after picking, GTS does not perform export declaration. Just want to understand if anybody has experienced similar requirement and how they have managed to achieve this.
