Draft PO Print

Hi friends,

Threre is a requirement on draft PO printing. Incase PO is not released by final release code printing will not be activated. And in this case a draft PO should be printed with different out put type rather than the original PO out put type.

Is this requirement is possible. If yes pl let me the steps.

Hi Ashok,

As Dilip told it is a complete development.Ask your abap team to develop a tcode to print this po. In that there are two options one for po print other for draft. You give the po lay out to then they will do it easily.Check this and post if need help.

Hi,

We can set the logic with the help of abapor as follows:

If the Po is not released means final indicatior 8/9 is not set in PO,then PO should be printed as draft purchase order otherwise PO print should be printed with Final Purchase order.

Yes, It is possible in standard SAP. The PO will be printed with DRAFT in background

Hi Srinag,

Incase final release is not made user wants get a draft PO print having different out put types. For example suppose for original PO out put is ZNEU. But in case final release not made it will not print but instead it will print a draft PO with different lay outs and different out put types in fore ground.They want hard copy of draft po print out. Is it possible. If yes pl provide me the steps.

Hi,

This requirement can be done through development only. We had same requirement one of our client so we built the solution through development work.

1>Built logic when user would like to take a print out , the system should pop a screen with 2-option ( Draft copy & Final copy)

2>If the user select the option for Draft copy the out-put ( ZNEW) will work

Or

Selecting other option Final copy ( System should pop up warning message as u201C PO is not yet releasedu201D and the program should auto select the draft copy option)

If the PO released the program should trigger another output say u2013YNEW to print the final PO
