Hi all
When adding delivery against sale order it gives a error message (Enter valid number; document number already exists)
how can i solve this problem
Thanks and regards
Pankaj
hI,
Try locking all the un used series.
Relate the series to current posting period.
this may help you.
Or some of your series must be overlapping.
Try to find out the last number generated in jdt1 table and match it with series table.
If it does not match then there do exists a discrepancy.
Once we had this problem.
We closed that series and re - created the series again.
Thanks
Malhaar

This issue is solved by using restore functionality --> restore numbering file. But you must test it first in the test server and if it is not solved, log a message to sap support.

When you define the series, have you made the overlap number range?
