I am running 2007a and am setting up document numbering for three series under sales orders

what first# next# final#

series 1 1 43,000 999,999

series2 1,000,000 1,000,031 1,999,999

series 3 2,000,000 2,000,000 2,999,999

I then click ok

then I click update

I receive the following error: invalid series

when I attempt to set up multiple series for purchase orders I get an error:

Invalid Series next number message [3535-3]

Dear,

Which patch level are you using. there was a bug regarding this error which was fixed in 2007 January patch.

Anyway, I would like to recommand you to report this issue to SAP as some DB fix is necessary for some cases.

Please note: you should not put in existing series for ADD. Only new series need to be defined.

Thanks,

I think , the problem here is with your first series.

The first and next number cannot have a gap.
