Hi
when i moved from DEV to QAS the number ranges for the new document type it is overiding the existing document type number ranges and it is making all document type numbers ranges to ZERO,can any one tell me how to transport this
without overiding the existing in the QAS,Suppose if i want to reverse the transport
request from QAS to DEV what is the procedure.

Please see the documentation for the number ranges after you save them in DEV. The documentation clearly indicates that you should not be transporting the ranges as it will overwrite the existing number ranges in the target system. You need to manually create the number ranges in QAS and also in PRD.
You can only transport the number ranges at the time of initial configuratin and there is no transaction data in Production. Subsequently, you need to maintain them manually in each of the system.

Instead of coping the no ranges from one client to another is suggestble . Create seperately in each client.
