DOC STATUS FROM OPEN PRINTED TO OPEN

Hi all,

My problem is that when a document is printed, its status changes to open-printed.

When a user searchs for all open documents the procedure is the folowing :

Search mode + docstatus : open + search --> the result includes all the open documents without those wich are open and printed.

Is there a way to stop the system from changing the status when printed (the client doesn't need to have this info), if not how can we do the search just like mentioned and still get the wanted result.

Dear Safae,

There is no workaround for this. The issue is described in SAP Note 1401676 - Cannot Find Documents with Status "Open-Printed.

Hi David,

Thank you for your answer, so you mean to say that users should always do two researchs, one for open documents and the other for open- printed in order to have the list of all the open documents ?
