Can any one please advise on the following query - do we need to create multiple company codes for multiple location(two different states) if GST number is same.

Hi,

from my knowledge, if a company operates in different states, it also has different GST numbers, therefore you should also have different company codes.

Even I have answered the same in one of the interviews, but not sure why this was not considered as a correct response. I respect your advise
