Hello All,

Looking for expertise in the Parallel mode of DMO Database migrations. We are performing S/4 HANA migrations, I am on this below screen, wants to know how to proceed with those files rsync. If you read the Second point on the parallel mode, it says that rsync only applicable when the source and target OS are same, in our caus AIX - UNIX is the source and Linux - SuSE is the target.

- SUM file already copied over to Target Hosts

- We extracted the Linux version of the SUM on top of the directory as per the instructions.

- SUM started on Target as well

when they talk about rsync, are they talking developing our own rysnc script or they are talking about the dmo2sapcloud.sh script that is part of the SUM? Can I use this script for AIX and Linux?

if yes, do I need to do anything once I provide the target hostname to rysnc those 6 folders constantly, or this script will take care of everything, I have no action to do it?

If no, what are my other options? how are others are doing the migrations in a parallel mode?

If someone can shed some lights on this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
