Dear all,

When i run the standard costing system showing Rs.100 as standard cost but in the production order plan column system showing Rs.102 as Plan cost.

this difference is appearing when i use cost trend layout but in Plan and actual comparison it is showing correctly.

Can any one tell me which is causing for the difference.

Please suggest.

yes

It is showing Rs 102 in the plan column of the Production order (CO03)

this 102 includes Materials and Overheads

but in out of 10 material in the BOM one material price is showing differently

eg.in CK13n it is Rs.10 and in CO03 the price for the same material Rs.12.

Thanks

kishore

Hi,

Kidly check your standard costing plan/actual valuation strategy (OKKN) and production order plan/actual valution strategy (OPL1),Aslo check the subcontracting strategy in both cases.

hope this helps you and let me know if any queries.

Hi Kishore,

Can you check the material price, which is showing INR12. In BOM, we will maintain only materials, and the price will pick only from the material master.

It may be INR12 in that material material master.

Pls check and revert back.

How can subcontracting will influence in this scenario.

Hi,

Your total COGM cost means : material cost+Subcon cost+activity cost+ overhead cost

that is why i am telling, you can check your subcontracting strategy also in both the cases.

Hi Kishore,

   Let me know

  1. how many BOMs available for the Finished material

   2. Which method you used for std cost estimate (CK11N or CK40N)

   3. Is RM having both prices (Moving Avg and Std cost) in the Material Master?

Thanks,

Dear Kishore,

The possible reasons for the mismatch is:

1. may be your costing lot size and order quantity different.

2. Your valuation variant pricing strategy different with the valuation variant  in plan costing variant in T code OPL1.

please check accordingly.

Hi

I have same valuation variant for Standard , Plan and Actual.

No change in that.

You mean in plan cost column your FG cost is coming with 102 Rs?

Generally the plan cost for FG is: plan quantity*standard price.
