Discrepancies between Budcon report and FMAVCR02

Former Member

Hi.

When I check a fund using transaction FMAVCR02, I see the amount available, which is X. The client does not have permission to run this transaction, so they use the budcon report to check the availability, and the amount available is much bigger, that's why they thought they could block the fund.

FMAVCR02

     -Budget addresses

          -Introduce fund number

               -Amount available = X

FMRP_RW_BUDCON

     -Introduce fund number

-Introduce fund center N/A in or vaue field

-Execute report and select Commitment ceiling consumption, and the amount available for my fund = 52X

Why there are discrepancies between these two reports? As far as I understand, quantities in both reports should be the same, right?

I hope you can help me.

Thank you

Hello,

FMRP_RW_BUDCON is for one fiscal year while FMAVCR02 is for multiple fiscal years. Why don't you compare BUDCON with FMAVCR01?

Hi,

The figures would be the same if the parameters for the reports execution are on the same level. Please, note that FMAVCR02 gives overall AVC figures, while other report works on year basis. Also, it depends on which level you execute FMAVCR02, as it's possible to be executed on controlling object level, while the other report works with FM objects. AAdditionally, of course, there could be inconsistency in AVC ledger, which could be corrected by running FMAVCREINIT transaction.
