Discount problem in marketing document

Former Member

Dear All,

I have one problem. In sales quotation while posting our discount % is zero.

But after posting if user updates the unit price for item in the quotation automatically the discount % displays 100% and makes document total zero and we get the following.

[Sales Quotation - Rows - Discount % per Row][line: 1] , 'You are not permitted to perform this action' [Message 200-30]

If we edit the discount to zero then it allows to update the document.

Any solution for this. Also i dont want to use discount in quotation.

Hi Swapnil

Check for FMS is any applied to the Discount field. If not check for Authorizations set for the user. Also if you are maintaining any Hierarchies and Expansions check if u have set any for that item.

Hi,

Could you please check the value that was fed in the field

"Max discount" under Administration> General Authorizations> click on

the user that you log in.

If the discount shown in documents is not in this range, then you

will not be able to add the documents with the discount.
