Hi SAP,
Been reading up on Backorder Processing in SAP SD module. I am currently quite confuse with the difference between Backorder processing in SD and SCM module..
There are backorder process in SD module and also SCM module about ATP process.. slightly confuse here

Backordering is one of the Global ATP features in APO and basically you have a lot more flexibility there than you have in ECC.
Here is a great book for you to check those details, on page 179.
