What is the difference between Qualifications and Appraisal infotypes in PD?
More are less, they are looking same. The tabs are same, the pushbuttons Career Planning and Position Description are same.
Can somebody tell me what is the difference?
Thanks,

Hi,
Continued to what semvladigo mentioned:
Qualifications (24) and Appraisals (25) infotypes are both directed to PPPM - Maintain profiles t-code if the integration between PA and PD modules in active. When Personnel Development module is in use, all qualifications, appraisals, preferences, dislikes, development plans, etc are counted in employees development profile and are maintained via a single screen but different tabs.
Without PA-PD integration, 24 and 25 infotypes act as primary PA infotypes holding data separately on qualifications and appraisals of the employee in question , two of which has no integration with each other.

Hi,
Yes, when integration with PD is switched on (normal case) they look and act 100% the same.
But if integration is switched off they are different. Then they become purely PA infotypes.
Cheers
