Difference between FILE and AL11 transaction

Hi All,

Can anyone explain the difference between AL11 and File transaction.

I could see both define a path but couldn't recognise the difference.

Hi,

FILE is used to create Logical Files and logical names of files. While AL11 is an Application layers where the FILE will be placed and can be called whenever it is required

Basically AL11 will show all files
