Difference between copying from Enterprise Structure and Creating with Ref

Hi

Is this true that when we create a copy of any object from the Enterprise Structure, all the dependent tables entries are also made; but when we create the same using the reference (e.g. WB01 in case of Plant) object, the dependent table entries are not made and we need to make those entries manually?

Regards

Shan.

Hi

SAP Suggested while creating plant or company code we should copy from exciting one

while copying all dependent entrees and tables ,field get copy

suppose you create table with ref, there may chance that this table name or valuation or accounting get not get update

and while creating material master,or GRN you get error ,that this entrees doesnt exit in table ,still you create it

Hi,

Check the T-Codes EC01 till EC16. You can also run EC01 and from that initial screen, click on the button "Other Org Object" and select the desired object and execute. It has copying, replacing, deleting functions.
