Hi,

I am working with ESS applications.

For leave Quota is ACCRUED and ENTILEMENT are SAME?

When I am viewing the QUOTA ACCRUED for Annual leave under transaction PT50, its not macthing with the value ENTILEMENT that is shown under transaction PTARQ.

Also for infotype 2006 subtype 10, the values are not macthing with ACCRUED column under transaction PT50 (though they are matching with PT50).

Are the tow values needs to be same?

Can anyone specify the diffenece between the two if any?

Regards

Deb

Hi,

Accrual and entitlement need not always be the same.

Entitlement is the quantity that is transferred to the employee's account i.e. IT2006.

Accrual is wat is accrued for the employee on daily or any periodic basis depending on wat is defined in the Base entitlement rules.

for e.g. 12 days over a year will be transferred to employees account at end of calendar year.

So at the end of year 2008, 12 days will be transferred to IT2006. But if you see PT50 in say Jne 2009 you will see 6 more days have been accrued making the total 18 days of quota, but this will not be transferred to IT2006.

In IT2006 directly 12 more days will be credited at end of 2009 making the total 24 days as entitlement.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Shreyasi.
