DIEN material and PM order

Hi ,

I have a scenario where we are using DIEN materials for services.

Now if the work order is performed by a external vendor, then I'd add a DIEN material in the component section.

But my question is what control key should be used in the operation?

Can PM01 be used along with DIEN material, but the operation is performed by external vendor so why do time confirmation?

And if PM02 or PM03 is added it would create 2 PRs ( one from PM02/PM03 control key & one from DIEN material as it's non stock), which is not right approach.

Or could u suggest another approach by using DIEN material in work order.

Would appreciate your help in this.

Hi,

Confirmation required or optional depends on your control key PM01 config setting and that is irrespective of dien or any other material type.

Please check what setting you have for your client ortherwise can go for customised control key where confirmation will not be required.
