dest.storag bin change during putaway foreground in LT04

HI

For creating TO from TR , we run LB10, and select "TO in foreground", open (LT04), when we create TO (LT04 ) - on first item, we select "Putaway foreground" (icon >lifter with plus sign), shows Palletization screen, here system automatically purposes,

Destination storage type, storage section and storage bin.

also purposes quant, storage unit .

Here (in the same screen) can we change destination storage section(allowed) and bin(allowed) ?

Storage type setting:

Putaway strategy is : I > addition to existing stock

Destination bin change during confirmation = 1 allowed ( i understand , it means we can change distination storage bin during TO confirmation )

Secondly, i know we can enter storage type, section and bin in LT04 main screen, and go to "Palletization".

it purposes remaining elements like Quant, storge unit.

Hello James,

The dest.stoarge din can be changed based up on the putaway strategy which you defined against the storage type.

Since the option is enabled in your storage type, that is you can change the destination bin .

But ensure that you are giving the correct bin type while doing manually.

Hi All

question is

CAN we change destination storage section and storage bin on " PUTAWAY FOREGROUND" screen ( that comes on clicking icon Lifter Plus sign) , where system purposes \ recommended based on master data defined for that material .

I know we can change it on LT04 , main screen . and its working. my focus is , "Putaway foreground" screen is more appropriate for changing sections or bin.

i have carefully configured storage types setting, material master , storage indicator , section indicator , Storage unit type, Storage bin type etc.

You can manually enter storage type & section which bin you want to place.

First of all, you can delete the system recommand items, then manually enter your storage type & section and bin.

You need to pay attention the storage unit type should be matched with bin type which one you want to place.

Storage type will change as per each material movement you assigned to, which movement did you execute?
