Derived depreciation area posting - IFRS

Hi Experts,

Depreciation had to be posted as per IFRS in leading ledger and as per Indian GAAP in non-leading ledger. Hence, I had set up an additional depreciation area 02 which would post as per the local GAAP and a delta depreciation area 12 which posts the difference between 01 & 02.

Depreciation has been duly posted as per the respective GAAPs in the respective books. However, while posting retirement entry, the profit or loss on sale gets posted based on the value in leading ledger in all depreciation areas. However, the Profit/loss should differ between leading and non-leading ledger as the amount of depreciation posted is different.

As per the below link of help.sap.com [SAP documentation|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/2d/aa1f417849ef23e10000000a155106/frameset.htm]

in example 2, it states the differential value would automatically get posted in derived depreciation area whereas the same is not happening.

Let me know what change needs to be done to enable the posting through derived depreciation area.

Regards,

Smruti G.

Run ASKB, it isn't really posted automatically, just after ASKB you will see the difference from delta area posted in parallel ledger.
