Hi,
In SAP Standard, Translation Date is derived from Posting Date. However, from a business perspective in most GAAPs (e.g. Germany) this is wrong since it offers space for manipulation of interest rates. It should be derived from the Document Date instead. In order to solve this SAP used to offer a BadI in On-Prem which is called FI_TRANS_DATE_DERIVE.
However, talking about S/4HANA Cloud, there is, unfortunately, no such BadI available in the Custom Fields App. Does someone had a similar issue in Public Cloud? Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Best,
Arne
