Hi,

why April to Sep'11 ???

If you run unplanned deprecation in the month of Oct'11, month 6 - 10 will be posted in the month of oct'11.

To say it in other words: Everything up to now will be posted.

If you run AFAB by giving the period 7 (presuming April is your first period), then 7 months depreciation including your October month will be posted in October).

Hi,

China If you dont want to run depreciation from april to September and you want to post those 6 periods depreciation in 7th period then change asset capitalisation date to october 1st and and make unplanned depreciation in 7th period for 6periods depreciation.

If u made depreciation run monthly in configuration settings then system shows the planned depreication for all periods from the date of asset capitalization date. and if you run the depreication directly in 7th period system will give error. so if you change the asset capitalization date and make unplanned depreication it will resolve your problem. You can create a senario and check in test server.

Dear anji chinna

You can create FI transactions for every period against of depreciation

Means: you already run the depreciation for period 1 - now you have to create against of this period (oposit values). later you can run that through repeat run through AFAB.

Hi,

Once depreciation is posted, reversal is not possible, and it is not possible to depreciation start change also not poassible, for that you have to wirte up the value.
