Dear all ,

We have a old asset which had only one depreciation area , the IFRS dep area . We want to transfer these values to a new asset , which has three depreciation areas IFRS , Local and GAAP depreciation areas .

We also want to calculate the same depreciation in all the three areas . How can we do this transfer to this new asset and calculate the same depreciation in all the three areas .

The old asset already has APC values and also there is depreciation posted on the old asset from 2010 to 2018 . The useful life of the old asset is 15 years .

Thanks ,

Srikanth

Yes , using ABUMN we can only transfer values from the old asset to the new Asset only in the IFRS area . This is because the old asset has only the IFRS depreciation area . There is no option to transfer values to the other two depreciation areas .

Also the other two depreciation areas are not a copy of the area 01 . They also post in real time to the GL and we are using new asset accounting .

Thanks ,

Srikanth

Hi

It looks like an Asset Transfer. ABUMN - Transfer within Company Code

For the new Asset, You have 3 depreciation Areas and I guess One is real Area and Other two are reporting area which Copy values from 01.

So there may not be any issue.

Accumulated Depreciation will be getting transferred, in case PC or CC or asset Class getting Changed.

There won't be any impact or change on posted depreciation expenses for the Current Fiscal year.

Test this Scenario first in Testung Clinet for a safe side.

Thanks.
