Hi

It is always a best practice to Deactivate the depreciation area than deleting the depreciation area.

What you need to do is make the deactivation per asset class of the deleted depreciation areas.

Defining the depreciation area now as per my knowledge may not solve the problem.

Reward if usewful.

Hi Ngocpt,

To define a depreciation area use the following path in the Customizing IMG (transaction code SPRO):

Financial Accounting > Asset Accounting > Valuation > Depreciation Areas > Define Depreciation Areas

Use the Copy button to copy the deprecation area that is similar to the deprecation area(s) to be created and define the depreciation terms.

Also, to add a new depreciation area to existing assets use transaction code ABFN.

Thanks,

Chad
