when we create delivery from saled order how movement type 601 etc will come in delivery

It is picked up from schedule line category

In VOV6 your schedule line category will have movement type defined in it

Go to VOV6 and select your schedule line category click on to details and see and you will find movement type there

Hi,

while defining schdule line category(VOV6), movement type is maintained. The system proposes the movement type based on the scedule line category which is determined schedule line cat determination).

Dear Aspirant,

Transaction: VOV6 - Maintain Schedule Line Categories

Path: SPRO --> IMG --> Sales and Distribution --> Sales --> Sales Documents --> Schedule Lines --> Define Scehdule Line Categories.

Say, CP - MRP, is your Movement type in Sales Order.

Check with Details-Page for CP in VOV6. There, Field: Movement Type would have maintained with "601"

Now, the Question arises - From where, This Schedule Line Category comes in to Sales Order?

This comes in two--steps:

Step1:

Path: SPRO --> IMG --> Sales and Distribution --> Sales --> Sales Documents --> Schedule Lines --> Assign Scehdule Line Categories.

Here, Schedule line is assigned to Item category

Step2:.

T. Code: VOV4

Here, Item Category is assigned to Sales Order.

Based upon these Two Assignments, Schedule Line come in to Sales Order, and you see the Movement Type.

when we create a sales order we will be getting a schedule line , to that schedule line the movement type will be attached. So when we create delivery that movement type will be coming
