Deletion of Master Data

Dear Sir/Mam

Greetings of the Day!!!

Due to some internal issues in my company, i am supposed to delete all the master data which has been uploaded in client 200 through LSMW.

There is a T Code PU00 for deletion of a particular master data.

Is there any programme/ T Code by which we can delete the 'n' number of database at one time. Deletion of database one by one is taking too much time.

Hi Friend

You can delete the master data of employees using report RPUDELPN. Go to SA38, give the report RPUDELPN and do the test run first. Please note that you are not supposed to do this in production server. If you want to delete the master data of an employee in production server, you may use PU00. I hope this is the only option available.

Why we should not run RPUDELPN? It is very time takin to delete the master data of 2000 employees by using PU00.

Dear Harshvardhan,

Due to the settings in SCC4 transaction, this report cannot be executed in production system. It is so logical, since its very unsafe to let the deletion of all live personnel data.

However, if your basis people accept to change the settings as if they look like the ones in development environment, you may be able to run the report.

But please be very careful, u may not want to delete all the master data.

Hi.. if you want to delete master data.. you can do it through Batch data upload.. please find the personnel numbers, infotypes and then use DEL operation
