Deletion of exchange rates in OB08

Are there any implications for deleting exchanges rates from OB08 that have never and will never be used ?

Why do you want to delete rates? Do you have so many historical rates? How did you assure that no application used this rate?

Hello,

mostly the applications which are working with foreign currencies are saving a copy of the used rate in their own recordsets. I would only delete rates for those years which are released for fi document archiving too or better for those fiscal years where the tax audit is done completely.

Thanks for your response

There are many rates for currencies which we have never and will never be used (possibly imported at implementation) and I was hoping we could remove these to make the exchange rate table more manageable
